Flight instruction available for Private and Commercial single-engine airplane students

Steve is available for primary training for those seeking a Private or Sport license, training towards a commercial certificate, flight reviews and refresher training.

Steve's most important goal is safety, and training you to be a safe and proficient pilot. He will work with you to identify your goals, whether that is your first certificate, a rusty-pilot refresher, flight review or add on rating, and design a plan to help you achieve them. In addition to the FAA required instruction and standards for proficiency, Steve will help you understand the practical side of flying — like navigating the equipment you can buy, how to arrange for transportation and parking at your destination, and how to find fun places to fly.

As an independent flight instructor, Steve doesn’t provide the aircraft but has access to several local aircraft available for rental and can help you choose the right rental aircraft for your training goals and budget. These aircraft currently start at $125 per flight hour. Of course, if you have your own aircraft, Steve is happy to instruct in your airworthy airplane.

First time flier? No problem! Take a discovery flight with Steve and learn what it’s all about! Discovery flights give you a chance to experience flying in a small airplane. No experience is required, and Steve will encourage you to take the controls to experience the joy of flight. Of course, you’ll also get to view our beautiful land and/or city scapes from the sky!
